Water baby
I am a complete product of being born in Florida and my parents love of boating. Since going out in the boat at 2 weeks old, I have always loved boating, swimming, snorkeling, the ocean, pool, lakes, waterparks, sunshine (with SPF!), tan lines, and sand. Richard isn't quite the water baby I am, but he does enjoy the time we spend on the water. Since we live in GA now, not near the ocean, we spend our boating days on Lake Allatoona. Unlike when we lived in FL, my parents don't keep the boat in the water all year, April 1st through Oct 31st is our boating season, so we spend as possible on the lake before the boat comes out for the winter.

Window frame
I saw a cute window used as a picture frame on Pinterest. I thought it was an extremely cute idea, so I had my eye out for old windows. One afternoon, Richard and I were getting gas at Kroger and as we were leaving, there were TWO windows just laying in the side of the parking lot with no cars around so we PICK EM UP!
I taped off the glass part and painted the outside the same green as our downstairs bathroom.
I then put 6 nails (3 on each side) down the back of the frame and added twine with clothes pins to add pictures. The coolest thing about the frame is that you can change the pictures whenever you want and it is super easy!
3 years!
On Sept 18th, we celebrated our 3 year wedding anniversary! Wow, the past 3 years have been some of the best of our lives. I look back on our wedding day so fondly, I loved everything about our wedding but the best part is having Richard as my husband!
The TN Aquarium is in two buildings, one is the river adventure and the other is the ocean adventure. I LOVE the ocean adventure (no surprise).
In the river adventure, I got to be apart of the bird show and a toucan flew to my arm, took a dollar bill and flew back to the trainer. He then flew back to me and gave me the dollar back, it was pretty cool.
In the ocean section, they have a touch aquarium (which is ALWAYS my favorite) and we got to pet sharks, sting rays, and horseshoe crabs.
They also have a butterfly garden with beautiful multicolored butterflies.
We ate lunch at Cheeburger Cheeburger, since we both had never been there before. It is a cute diner type place where you build your own burger, they have lots of options to put on the burger. It's a little on the expensive side, but the food was tasty.
After we finished the aquarium, we walked across the river and just rested and enjoyed our time together!
