Merry Christmas

On Christmas Eve, we went to our church service at 3pm, then headed over to my parents house for Christmas Eve dinner. My Mom goes all out for our dinner, and it was delicious!

On Christmas day, we woke up (later than we thought we would) and made our way downstairs for stockings and gifts!

We then went Richard's Dad's house for gifts with Dad and Babs.

We left there and went to my parents house for gifts and lunch.

Richard's Mom, Dan, and brothers came to our house for dinner. We had roast beast, mac and cheese, green bean casserole, and potatoes.

Our Christmas trees

Last year we decided to get two Christmas trees and we did the same thing again this year. My family has always has a real Christmas tree and I love them. I am glad Richard feels the same way about real trees (and the number) as I do!

Our downstairs tree is in the living by our back window. It has our Hallmark ornaments and other personal ornaments on it.

Our upstairs tree is in the foyer, it is going to be out red, green, and gold tree, but right now it kind of the place where our random ornaments go.

We also have two fake trees. One is in our dining room with blue lights, and blue, white, and silver ornaments. The other is a small tiny tree we say is the kittens.

The most wonderful time of the year

On December 7th, our high school friend Mandy and her husband Danny had their annual Moyer Christmas Party.

(Sara, Courtney, Me, and Mandy)

Dec 8th, we has Friendsgiving at our house with Sarah, Cody, Carla, and Jamie.

Dec 13-15, we were in Macon for Natalie and Travis' wedding. We drove down on Friday (after my work Christmas luncheon) and spent the night at Natalie's Mom's house. The next morning, Natalie and I went to the hotel, so I could start on everyone's makeup. The ceremony was at 4pm and although it was raining, the whole wedding turned out beautiful. Congrats Mr. and Mrs. Lovingood!

My beautiful best friend!

Dec 17th, we saw JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE at Phillips Arena. JT is the BEST show we have ever been to. He played for 3 hours with only a 10 min break. He played all the songs we hoped he would play and more. He had a stage/platform that moved all the way across the arena. We would go see him again in a heartbeat!

We made Christmas cookies and a gingerbread house in there too!

Dec 19th, was the day we did white elephant and gift exchange at Carla and Jamie's house. RC ended up with my white elephant, a shot glass with a spinning arrow (classy, I know) and I got two ugly sweater mugs and hot chocolate. Carla got me the cutest burlap personalized wall hanging and a cute monogrammed key chain!

Dec 21st, we helped surprise Nick Baer at his 30th birthday party. We went to high school with his wife, Jessica, and she was sweet enough to invite us to the party and to see their new beautiful house!

Dec 22nd, we did "Bill Christmas" at our house. We ate a few appetizers and Richard and Cody exchanged gifts and Sarah and I exchanged gifts!

Holiday Photos

Richard and I decided to have our friend, Cory Locatelli, take some pictures of us to use on our Christmas Card. Cory picked the Roswell Mill, and he was right, it is beautiful there. Here are a few of my favorites!

I made that "C"!

Cory is one of Sarah's childhood best friends, and since we took them on my birthday, Sarah and Cody came with us!

Sweet besties.

We took this photo during our engagement shoot and our Christmas card shoot from 2011, so we kept the tradition going.
